In front of those faces taken almost always in the middle, standing out against a background that sometimes combines with the colour of the dress worn by the character and others is simply obscured so as not to detract from the true protagonist of the image, we feel as if we were in two times at the same time. The actual time in which the photograph was taken, when the photographer shared with his model an instant of complicity that led to that transition to the time evoked, and the one perceived, as one would expect, in the look, expectant or smiling, to the camera.
